Did I Complete 2025's Goals?

Somewhat.

Click here for this year's goals.

  1. I did not finish the Catechism in a Year Podcast.
    1. No excuse. I'm still on Day #34
  2. I got confirmed this year!
    1. Thanks to Ashley, Fr. Antonio, Fr. Beau, and Ms. Anselma, I was.
    2. I chose Fr. Beau as a sponsor earlier this year and after a few weeks the news was that he was reassigned and was leaving Benque. Because of this there were a couple options: I could choose a different sponsor, keep him and while he is away he could find a proxy, or to keep him as my sponsor and ask Fr. Jordan if Fr. Tony could confirm me. I chose to have Fr. Beau and Fr. Tony be there. Fr. Beau asked Fr. Jordan and he agreed to give Fr. Tony Permission to confirm me. I was so excited and I wished I had told more people about it. I am happy the people I care about were there. Ashley, Tessa, and Judson drove all the way from Burrell Boom to be there.

  3. I have not yet found my vocation.
    1. (Click here) Check number 3 for some backstory on what had happened before.
    2. I am neither a priest or married. Both would take some time for me to get there but I admire that I pushed harder than I ever have in discerning both. A lot of wounds have healed this year, but there is still more to work through. I need your prayers.
  4. I did not walk across Belize and visit every parish.
  5. I did not get to 200 blogposts.
  6. I did not go to Medjugorje
It's a bit underwhealming seeing most of the list having not been acheived or completed, but I have gone through a lot this year that made goals two and three mostly possible.

Some time ago I was praying about next year's goals and even walking to daily Mass this morning in Benque I was praying and felt that I need to pray a 54 Day Rosary Novena for a number of things. Most of them I wont share here as they are a little too personal (even though I have been mostly an open book in the past on here). I am looking forward to next year and what it has instore. Thank you for reading this. The blog has evolved into something different but I appreciate you sticking around. Please pray for me. If you need prayers also, feel free to email me and I can add your intentions to my prayers.
