- Fr. Beau Schweitzer, SOLT I chose St Timothy Disciple of St. Paul The hand gesture used by St. Timothy (and often Christ and other saints) in religious art, with two fingers stretched upwards and three folded down or joined, is a rich piece of Christian symbolism related to key doctrinal beliefs.
