Reflection
The Outdoor Leadership Adventure, or OLA for short, is unique. It is an experience that drives incoming students at John Paul II Junior College deeper into nature and themselves. The week long activity places individuals at the top of the mountain, here they overlook the valley below, and being able to step back, they realize their weaknesses and also their strengths. However, the experience comes at a price, thought the week may be rigorous: Physically, Mentally, and spiritually, the students are faced with a challenge and a call on the final day. Despite having grown immensely the past days, here at JPII you are called to keep growing, and keep challenging yourself to overcome and conquer the valley. The OLA is not just a camp, or a retreat, it is a mindset for life.
