To the Desk

With a camera on me I write this  Upon you the camera sits, I too lean upon you. With a click and a wish I lay fingers a top my laptop. You hold steadfast amidst the noise, hum and hiss,  click and clack, crash and boom... I bid adieu.

What's up?

Nothing much. I can't sleep. It's not a problem though, I don't feel tired. I tossed and turned in my bed, never feeling comfortable. So I got up and decided to talk to you.               You remember how we use to talk before.  Yeah, I would get so happy while I wrote to you. I would do little dances and get excited where I sat.                I remember. I would see your smile grow wider, and your head nod. Your eyes too would sparkle as they ran back and forth reading back what you had just written.  Yeah, its coming back to me. I missed you.                I missed you too.  It's nice remembering with you. So much has happened, but you're still so familiar.                I know, I feel the same way.  I don't know what else to say. The familiarity is there, the enjoyment, but still I am los...

This year's goals (2024) :

This year's goals: 1. get confirmed  2. find my vocation 3. See how many books I can finish  I wrote this a while back. It's 1:40 a.m. 6/28/24 when I am adding this to the post. I'm listening to Halsey - Bad at Love on YouTube.  I came back to the Catholic Church a little over a year ago. I was thinking that I was never confirmed and I am torn between waiting for Belize to get a bishop or just get confirmed as soon as possible.  With finding my vocation, I added that to the list because I have never considered marriage nor priesthood. However, growing in the faith and hearing Fr. Shajir say that every young person should ask themselves if they are called to the priesthood or religious life I have included finding my vocation in my prayer life, weak as it may be.  With the how many books I can finish goal so far I found and finished a book I really liked. I even posted the cover on my Instagram page. It was called "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho
